This is a perfect dress for someone who wants to feel like a princess on her wedding day. The dress is part of the Fall ‘05/Spring ‘06 Collection and was worn on July 7, 2007 in New York’s Central Park for an outdoor ceremony.
The gown is made of champagne colored satin with gold embroidery on the bodice as well as the bottom of the dress. It is sprinkled with tiny pearls and Swarovski crystals on the embroidery which creates a very romantic look. For the money, you are getting a lot of beautiful detailing.
I purchased this dress from Saks Fifth Avenue New York. Even though the dress size is 10, I am actually a size 4, with a 28” waist. I think that if you are a 4 or 6 this dress is perfect for you.
I had a few minor alterations done to the dress including:
- Cups added so I could wear it without a bra (34 B/C) – [Cups could easily be removed]
- Length taken up a bit, I am 5’5” and wore 3 1/2” heels with it.
- I had a French bustle created.
The dress was lovingly worn once and is now hanging in a closet desperate for another opportunity to be worn!
